Hello, I’m Gillian.

I am a nature therapy practitioner, writer and brand strategist. While at first glance these three things may seem mutually exclusive, I’ve discovered that each part of my work supports the other. Each element brings its own rhythm and equilibrium.

I set up Kindlings in response to my own personal connection with nature – to cultivate the skills and perspectives that support my full presence in the world. In turn, my purpose is to offer refugia or safe spaces so others can find their own answers to this fundamental question:

“What can I do to stay present and open to my life and to the world?”

The reality of modern life means we often feel exhausted, emptied. So, we have to restore ourselves, drawing from soul and creativity to give gesture, voice and tone to what needs to be expressed.

This is where nature therapy practice has a big role to play, delving into a big cooking pot of ingredients – the senses, language, gesture, creative expression, ritual and silence – all carefully held in a gentle structure.

Why work with Kindlings.

Are you or your team wrestling with answers to any of the following questions?

  • How do I meet the demands of physical, mental and emotional stressors?

  • How do I build resilience against high levels of stress and burnout?

  • Where can I draw inspiration for greater collective creativity, critical thinking and cognitive and emotional capacity?

  • How do I think long-term while not squandering the present moment?

  • How do I tell the story of who I am and what I do?

  • How do I reinforce self-confidence, self-acceptance and self-management?

  • How can I support my team and ensure we are all aligned?

If you want to deepen your connection to yourself, to others and to the living world, then get in touch.
